Government issued Prime Minister Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2016-2017 for Less Developed Areas. PM Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2016-17 for Less Developed Areas 2016. The Scheme was accepted in June 2012 by the Government and was at first designed to reimburse tuition fees and on and off mandatory charges for the students of Balochistan, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan admitted on merit in Masters/MPhil /PhD in any public sector degree donation institution. Aimed at encouraging chase of higher education by students from less developed region through financing of their tuition fees remunerated directly to universities.

Higher Education Commission (HEC) in collaboration through the Ministry of Education and Trainings, which will be accountable for its implementation on the ground. In line through the Government’s vision and mission to endorse education and facilitate students to the maximum, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is proud to publicize “Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme” for students of less developed area for consecutive fourth year.

It is to notify all of you that Prime Minister’s Fees Reimbursement program for Rural Development Area of 2015 and 2016 batch has been announced and Students are advised to register themselves. All New admitted students in PhD Programs 15-16 and some leftover cases will ensure their online registration.

If some student registered himself, herself through wrong domicile, having admission based as self-finance or enrolled as evening program shall instantly away disapprove for this scheme from H.E.C. Non study related heads similar to transport fee, hostel fee, Sports fee, Endowment Fund, Equipment Fee, Health Fee or Any Refundable dues will not be remunerated.
